<description>last week i had a chance to sit down with scott monty when he was in LA for the auto show. i had reached out to him the previous week over twitter just to introduce myself and he mentioned that he would be in town so i suggested getting together for chat. as a daughter of a former Ford employee i have high hopes for the company and i am thrilled that scott is behind the social media wheel for them. he really does practice what he preaches. even with a busy schedule, scott took time to make an individual connection with me and to discuss social media ideas. companies (large or small), when operating within a social media space, need to realize that the most effective social media happens on micro level with a genuine interaction. thanks amber for sharing scott&#039;s perspective.
