It should also be done before making any decisions, even those decisions we may be making at the same time such as those involved in creating a new product. This way you create from the get go a product that more accurately reflects customers&#039; real needs than what you think they want. Since this listening involves listening to a pre-existing conversation which is not necessarily about your brand, some ways to do this are a little different.
