For Memorial Day

It’s rare that I cross the streams and put my personal posts here. I have another blog for that, by design.

But there won’t be a post here today, or on the weekend, or on Monday.

In honor of Memorial Day, instead, I’d like to share my short tribute to my Grampa, a WWII veteran and someone who meant a great deal to me as a kid.  You can read that post on my personal blog, here.

If that’s not your thing, that’s okay too. I’ll be back next week with the regular fare.

To all those who have served, whose families who have served, and for those who value and understand how many people have sacrificed so much for the freedoms we enjoy and so often take for granted, thank you.

    I appreciate you taking the time to write this thoughtful post. I am grateful for all soldiers who made an oath to protect our country. Their integrity cost them time with their loved ones, comfort of a safe place to live, a nice bed to sleep on, and daily baths. People don’t realize what our American soldiers do for us on a daily basis, not to mention risking their own lives for us. I am forever grateful.
