Altitude Branding - Pull Up A ChairI’ve got a cozy seat right over here with your name on it.

If you’re not already subscribed to Altitude Branding, I’d love if you’d do so now either via email, or via RSS.

If you’re already subscribed and like what you get here, how about suggesting that a friend, client, colleague, or your Twitter followers do so?

There are a few reasons:

1. Subscribing tells me that you’re finding something of value here, which helps me understand what’s working, and what’s not. The more indicators you give me, the more I can deliver content you care about reading. It’s a for-me, for-you thing.

2. This blog is moving in a week or two. The URL is changing, but the feed address isn’t. Subscribing means a seamless transition from this blog to the next and you won’t miss a post. More on that soon.

3. If you come back more than once, I’m almost guaranteed to hear from you eventually in a comment, or via an email, and learn a bit more about you. I care about that part an awful lot.

4. There’s more evolutions coming, ideas on the blog I want to explore, conversations I’m hoping you’ll have with me and the people here.  Some of them will thread through one another. This medium is richer when we’re all consistently connected, and subscribing not only connects us to each other, but it connects all of you via the comment streams and interaction. That matters, too.

If not, that’s cool. I’ll totally wave to you as you drive by, and hope that you’ll be back sometime anyway. I appreciate your visit.

And for those of you that DO subscribe, thank you. It’s my pleasure to have you here, and I hope I consistently deliver. If I don’t, call me on it.

So, settle in for a while. I’ll go make some coffee or tea or chill the beer. See you soon.

What a perfect call to action. To often we put something out there, hoping for feedback or a reaction, but we either don’t think to ask for it or we are afraid to. I’m already subscribed, but I will definitely suggest others do the same. I look forward to seeing what you have in the incubator.

    • Amber Naslund

Hey listen, all I can do is ask right? I love it when people ask me outright, so I’m hoping a few people who have been lurking decide to join us for the party. :)

    Amber –

I seldom get a chance to comment as much as I’d like to here, but I wanted to say that you’ve got me as a subscriber hook, line, and sinker ;-)

What I haven’t learned in my MBA classes is most definitely supplemented here, and I enjoy your openness in discussing the most pertinent issues of the day in a honest and inclusive way. That’s so missing in so many things I’ve read elsewhere.

And you just reminded me to tweet your new post! :-D

      Hi Concetta –

That’s okay! Not everyone is a commenter, and I actually wish I were better and more active about commenting on other blogs the way I used to. But I’m grateful you’re here, and glad that the content is working for you. Thanks so much for sharing.

Amber, this is a wonderful approach. I subscribe via email and want to continue. I will use my Facebook page and Twitter to suggest others do as well. I hope you don’t mind … I will likely “borrow” your tone as I reach out to folks myself. Aaron

    Hi Amber,
I get your blog via e-mail and subscribe on Twitter. I enjoy both. Love your sense of humor and straight forward, tell-it-like-it-is approach.

One tiny suggestion: I think your name should be on your blog posts that you send out. Ties it all together better that way.
    Lori

    • Amber Naslund

Lori – Great suggestion, and thanks. I didn’t realize that it wasn’t, so I’ll have to look into my feed settings and see how I can adjust that. Thanks for being here!
